Sandwell Ropes, a new outdoor aerial adventure course, opened July 27 in Sandwell Valley Country Park.
The new course offers a fun adventure for families and children aged five and up.
Adastra Fletcher-Hall, activity instructor, said: “We’ve had a flood of people so far.
“Especially with the good weather and the school holidays, it’s been great.
“The feedback has been very positive, people have loved it and said they want to come back.
“If people couldn’t get involved, they took a leaflet and said they wanted to in the future.
“People of all ages and families are welcome and will love it, I’m sure.”
Located in Sandwell Valley National Park, visitors can also take advantage of the Sandwell Park Farm Visitor Center, Forge Mill Farm, bike rentals and more if they make the trip.
The site offers a “Vertigo Adventures JumpTest” where people can test their nerves and enjoy great views of the park from a 30-foot vantage point.
There is also a trapeze walk to cross before jumping on a zipline and choosing between the totems of the extreme route or a more pleasant route via the kitten bridge.
Chris Sturdy, Operations Director at Planning Solutions, which operates Sandwell Ropes, said: “We are delighted to bring the high ropes attraction back to Sandwell Valley Country Park, providing a great day out for families in the West Midlands and beyond. .
